Polea protectora: Es la parte de la polea donde se puede enrollar el cable o guayas;
dc.description.abstract | The objective of this research work was an elevator or hoist is a vertical transport system designed to
move people or objects between different floors of a building or structure. It consists of
mechanical, electrical and electronic parts that work together.
There are indications of a rudimentary elevator in use, operated by animals, power
human or water mechanisms in 300 a. c.
The elevators we know today began in the 19th century and were powered by
steam in the cylinders that lift the car. To descend, simply open the
valve and gravity lowered the cabin.
At the beginning of the 1900s, steel cables appeared as traction
of the elevator with a mechanism with flexible pulleys and counterweights.
In 1853, Elisha Graves Otis attended the Crystal Palace in New York, where she
she was displaying an elevator with "emergency braking." German inventor Werner von Siemens
placed an electric motor at the bottom of the elevator car only in 1887
when he got into the elevator.
Today, the elevators we use every day are governed by a complex system
controls and contacts. Computers are incorporated into the control system, which
that makes each movement of the elevator more comfortable and safe.
The elevator reaches the limit of consumption savings through the use of magnets
permanent on the motor and frequency converter. The lift network is accessible to
through the internet. This gives maintenance companies the ability to
periodically inspect elevators anywhere in the world, as required by
would do today surfing the Internet. Steel cables have been replaced by
stronger and more durable compounds. Elevator gearboxes are still
in the history. The car will be able to recognize the language to receive voice commands and not
you will not have to press any buttons to call... In fact, as the height increases
of the building, the elevator will be one of the improvements to the building.
elevator types
Mechanical: In the first elevators, the steam engine was connected
by belts and gears to a revolving drum wound with a cable.
Electromechanical: These elevators have a mechanical part and an electrical part; they are already
the current elevators.
Electric: Its mobilization system uses an electric motor.
Hydraulic: Its mobilization system uses a hydraulic system.
Utility
Mobilize objects: in mines, warehouses, etc.
Mobilize people: buildings
Mobilize people with disabilities: at home, in the office, in stores.
elevator parts
Engine: The engine is the muscle that moves the cabin, it must have the capacity to
enough strength for this purpose, in addition to being able to change its direction of rotation and the
necessary speed so as not to cause inconvenience to the people who use it.
Control box: element that controls the actions of the lift: opening of
doors, movements, operating states, speeds, etc.
Protective pulley: It is the part of the pulley where the cable or guayas can be wound;
this must be large enough to contain all the cable in the building.
Speed limiter: It is the set of pulleys or gears that reduce the
engine speed and give it enough force to support the weight of the cabin with
all its occupants.
Cabin suspension cable: It is the cable that holds the cabin on one side.
Counterweight suspension cable: It is the cable that on one side holds the
counterweight.
Counterweight: Its purpose is to balance the weight of the cabin and the load.
Car guides and counterweight: they guide the car in the correct trajectory and act
as a support in the event of a cable break, so they must be fully aligned with
resistance depending on the total weight and load of the cabin.
Cab shock absorbers or counterweight: If the suspension cable breaks, the
lift must be equipped with shock absorbers to stop the car with the greatest
smoothness possible.
Pit: The lower part, below the level of the last stop, is called the pit.
Parachute: The parachute works when the cabin gains a faster pace at
from a given percentage, whatever the cause, be it a broken wire or a drive
broken tractor, and the system stops in the cab.
Frame: The steel frame is a robust element in which the power cable
Suspension and parachute mechanism are attached to the case.
Box: The box fixed on the frame is the portable element itself.
Maneuver algorithm
For more efficient operation, the elevator system has memory for
store and respond to call requests by prioritizing requests in the
vehicle steering according to various operation algorithms.
