The authors present and describe how information and technological skills have been incorporated in the curriculum of several English courses at the University of Puerto Rico in Carolina. The English professors and a librarian have developed tasks to integrate information and technological skills in different courses. Two examples are going to be explained: Basic English I and II. The authors discuss how the standards of the Association of College and Research Libraries (ACRL) and the Big6 Skills Model were used to design the tasks.
