Este volumen del Informe Científico Tecnológico ofrece un panorama general de las actividades de investigación y desarrollo ejecutadas por el Instituto Peruano de Energía Nuclear (IPEN), durante el período comprendido entre el 1 de enero al 31 de diciembre de 2003. Esta publicación contiene 54 artículos, divididos en 9 áreas temáticas, tales como: física y química nuclear, ingeniería nuclear, ciencia de los materiales, radioquímica, aplicaciones industriales, aplicaciones médicas, aplicaciones medioambientales, seguridad y protección radiológica, y los aspectos de gestión.

This annual issue of the Informe Científico Tecnológico provides an overview of research and development activities at Peruvian Institute of Nuclear Energy (IPEN) during the period from 1 january to 31 december, 2003. This report includes 54 papers divided in 9 subject matters: physics and nuclear chemistry, nuclear engineering, materials science, radiochemistry, industrial applications, medical applications, environmental applications, protection and radiological safety, and management aspects.
