dc.description.abstractThe present research aims to determine the relationship between obstetric psychoprophylaxis during labor in pregnant women treated at Hospital San José De Chincha 2019, whose methodology was observational, retrospective and cross-correlational, its sample was 85 parturients attended in Hospital San José de Chincha in the period August to September 2019, finding in its results that the age with the highest percentage occupied was 26 to 35 years with 50.6%, occupation was merchant with 28.2% and marital status was single with 41.2%, on the other hand, 44.7% had a duration of 8 to 12 hours the period of delay and the expulsive period was <50 minutes with 54.1%, in how many sessions of psychoprophylaxis 60% completed all their sessions, concluding that if psychoprophylaxis during labor is related. Key words: Obstetric psychoprophylaxis, labor, second stage, dilation period.
