E: Factors related to cervical carcinoma in outpatient clinic patients, Gynecology service at the Regional Hospital of Ica from July 2017 to June 2018. METHODS: an analytical, correlational study based on medical records was carried out, concerning 376 women, 188 patients with a diagnosis of cervical cancer and 188 patients without a diagnosis of cervical cancer, in a space of 1 year. Using the statistical program SPSS version 23. RESULTS: The most influential risk factors were the existence of HPV in the person with an OR of 2.55, declining the null hypothesis, which translates into an important relationship with HPV infection. Along with the number of intercourse, its OR was 0.4 and, contrary to the previous one, it was a protective factor. The sexual promiscuity of OR: 1.5 as a risk factor together with tobacco consumption of OR: 0.9 as a protective factor, had no statistical relevance due to their confidence interval. CONCLUSION: HPV as a risk element and having two or more coital partners as a protective element in cervical carcinoma, there is also the early onset of coital relations as a risk element and tobacco consumption as a protective element but they were not as relevant statistically as the first mentioned, which is why it is suggested to delve further into their study. Keywords: Cervical cancer, obstetrics
