Uso de antirretrovirales en pacientes VIH/SIDA con viremia alta: actualización terapéutica

Abstract

El uso de antirretrovirales para el tratamiento del VIH/SIDA es la principal forma de control de la carga viral en los pacientes. Por lo que conocer los nuevos tratamientos que se emplean a nivel internacional y su correcta administración es importante al momento de plantear un tratamiento a los pacientes. En el presente estudio se analiza los diferentes esquemas de tratamiento antirretroviral a nivel internacional y se los compara con los tratamientos que se siguen en el Ecuador en el servicio de atención a pacientes con VIH/SIDA, e impulsar con un plan estratégico educativo es parte de la propuesta presentada, para informar a los pacientes sobre los beneficios del tratamiento y la manera en la que actúan sobre la enfermedad, considerando que esto intervienen en la disminución de la viremia alta, mejorando la calidad de vida en la prevención de la aparición de enfermedades oportunistas en el paciente seropositivo.

The use of antiretrovirals for the treatment of HIV-AIDS is the main way of controlling viral load in patients. Therefore, knowing the new treatments that are used internationally and their correct administration is important when proposing a treatment to patients. This study analyzes the different antiretroviral treatment schemes at the international level and compares them with the treatments that are followed in Ecuador in the care service for patients with HIV-AIDS, and promoting with a strategic educational plan is part of the proposal presented, to inform patients about the benefits of the treatment and the way in which they act on the disease, considering that this intervenes in the reduction of high viremia, improving the quality of life in the prevention of the appearance of diseases opportunistic in the seropositive patient.
