The health crisis caused by the COVID-19 virus has exposed the shortcomings of mobility and highlighted the challenges that have not yet been overcome in cities, especially in Latin America. Likewise, in recent years there has been an increased interest in analyzing urban mobility patterns and climate change in order to generate environmental awareness in the population. This research focuses on the analysis of different mobility dynamics before and after the emergence of the COVID-19 pandemic, emphasizing the peri- urban parish of Ricaurte in the canton of Cuenca - Ecuador. This is based on a diagnosis where travel behaviors and mobility indicators are analyzed, with the purpose of finding the main problems that afflict the population, in order to fulfill the objective of proposing strategies to promote individual non- motorized mobility in the study area.
