In the last ten years, musical production has been transformed with the emergence of new generations of musicians. For independent artists, music production is synonymous with creating tracks, singing, moderately using a DAW or recording a musical instrument performance; but the role played by the music producer goes beyond the sound capture of a musical instrument. For this reason, the object of study of this project is to induce independent artists in what music production really encompasses through the production and post-production of an EP of three unpublished songs with a Pop-Dance repertoire in Spanish. The methodologies and techniques applied in this project include a bibliographic review of background information on the use of analog and digital equipment, as well as the opinions of professionals in the field within the processes of musical production. The results obtained in this project encourage the practice of music production processes with cheap tools and that some of them have become a standard within the music production industry. Finally, the present project concludes the viability that exists in musical production with the use of economic tools against the limitation of the economic factor and time.
