dc.description.abstractThe objective of this research work was to design a financial and administrative model for BYCACE Proconstruccions Hardware Store, Tisaleo Branch, to improve the current conditions defined in the administrative and financial processes and thus improve its profitability. For the development of this study, a mixed approach methodology was used, of a descriptive, bibliographic-documentary, and field type, where the primary research techniques were used, such as the interview and the survey, applied to the general manager, operating personnel, and clients of the company. The main results obtained focused on fulfilling the proposed objectives, such as the bibliographic review that contributed to the study variables and, above all, to the structure of the proposed model. In addition, the current situation was made visible, which involves the absence of a business philosophy, policies, and processes for the execution of its activities, making it impossible to manage resources adequately. However, it was also possible to verify the current financial management through the analysis of financial statements and financial indicators, reflecting positive but not efficient indicators that can be improved. It concludes with the proposal of an administrative-financial management model structure tailored to the company, which consists of 4 phases; PHASE I: Situational Diagnosis, PHASE II; Institutional Philosophy, PHASE III; Administrative Management and PHASE IV; Financial Management. All this will allow the BYCACE preconstruction Hardware Store to improve its efficiency and profitability. It is recommended to the organization the effective use of the presented proposal to obtain the proposed objectives.
