dc.description.abstractThe objective of this technical work was to develop a maintenance plan applying the Reliability-Based Maintenance (RCM) methodology, for the vehicle fleet of the Decentralized Autonomous Government of the city of Guano. The development of the methodology was distributed in six phases: the first was the list and coding of equipment, collecting most of the information of each one, the second phase was the identification of functional and technical failures where the possible defects for each were investigated equipment, in the third phase the failure model was determined, in the fourth phase the criticality analysis was carried out using the qualitative analysis methodology, in the fifth phase the preventive actions that must be carried out were specified through the results obtained in the decision sheets and finally phase six where the maintenance plan was developed. As a result, the inventory of 35 vehicles and their respective schedule was obtained with the different activities to be carried out during the year, obtaining a total of 35 maintenance tasks for each team to optimize safety, reliability and determine the critical state of the vehicle the teams. Therefore, it is concluded that the development of an orderly schedule for the maintenance plan with their respective dates to repair the equipment, avoids the accumulation of vehicle fleet stops, thus improving reliability and safety, which are the most important points analyzed. in this studio. Thus, it is recommended to implement the maintenance plan to correctly distribute the time and avoid the accumulation of maintenance in the different vehicles.
