dc.description.abstractThis research aimed to determine the feasibility of the use of classic cars in the different tourist activities of the city of Ambato. The enormous potential that the country has regarding its natural attractions and its cultural expressions has been considered in order to take them to a more technical level and to study the feasibility of implementing tourist services associated with resources, current demand and supply. After applying the tools of the research methodology, factors such as customer profile, potential demand were identified in the commercial study, according to the technical-productive aspects in order to determine the operational capacity, expecting to serve 14,000 users within the environmental study. It was possible to have a broader panorama of the environmental impact of the project and its mitigation measures. It was identified that "Society for Simplified Actions" SAS” is the legal structure through the administrative-legal study. To conclude with the financial study, it was possible to project costs and expenses derived from the generation of income, break-even point, expected profits, sources of financing, cash flow and payment capacity in the estimated time that the project will last. As a conclusion, it was found that the project is viable from the financial point of view, since the NPV is positive with a value of $36,221.45. The internal rate of return in operation is 13%, higher than the percentage that a local bank would pay for savings 5.52%. The cost-benefit ratio is 1.30, that is, for every dollar invested, the dollar is recovered, and 30 cents are earned. The capital recovery period is between years 4 and 5, being within the projection time. For the execution, it is recommended to manage the respective financing according to an analysis of uses and sources, and the payment of the debt.
