dc.description.abstractThe objective of this graduation work is to start up the machines of the chocolate and balanced production area in the Nunkui agricultural farm located in the Yamanunka community of the Shushufindi canton. For which each of the machines was evaluated through technical condition evaluation sheets, in which the level of deterioration of the machines in the areas to be intervened was determined. Subsequently, based on the IEC 61439 and UNE-EN 60204-1 standards, the control diagram of an electrical panel for the balancing production area was designed, with which the electrical components for the installation were sized and selected, as a complement a maintenance plan was developed applying the RCM methodology for the machines in the two areas of the plant. As a result of the start-up and proper functioning of the machines, a production capacity of 40 Kg/h was obtained for the chocolate area and a capacity of 500 Kg/h in the balancing area, in addition to the operating tests of the machines, gave favorable results. With which it was concluded that the repowering was strictly necessary to start up the facilities of the agricultural farm, which allowed to boost the economy of the region. It is recommended to train the operators on the management of each machine and execution of the maintenance plan to reduce the downtime of the plants due to unforeseen breakdowns that prevent meeting the production objectives.
