dc.description.abstractThe aim of this degree project is to carry out an ENERGY AUDIT OF THE INDUSTRIAL FACILITIES OF THE COMPANY ALUVID GLASS CIA LTDA FOR THE REDUCTION OF ELECTRIC CONSUMPTION in order to propose improvement actions that allow an efficient use of energy. For this, the ISO 50002 Standard was used as a basis, specifically the literal 5, which indicates the steps to follow such as: the opening meeting with the company, necessary data collection, measurement plans, execution, data analysis and results. On the one hand, the opportunities for improvement were identified on the other hand, a final report was made which was delivered to the company in a closing meeting in order to use the energy correctly and its monthly turnover decreases to what was consumed in previous months. When obtaining the power (KW) it was verified which equipment has a higher consumption according to the time of use (kWh), the adequate lighting (lux), characteristics of the machines, allowing to indicate that the ovens are the ones that made the greatest consumption. It was concluded that, the use of these equipment at night where the consumption rate is lower. obtained a saving of 34.89% in the economic part, a saving of electrical energy of 1.13% using the CNC Intermac Master, the reduction in the use of led luminaires allowed a lower consumption of up to 50%. It is recommended to take advantage of the characteristics of the ovens in the programming of their ignitions.
