dc.description.abstractThis curricular integration work was developed with the objective of carrying out a feasibility study for the implementation of tourism products in "San Pedro" recreation center, in Francisco de Orellana canton; this study, for execution of this studio performed a market study in order to establish the guidelines that allow to implement the new tourism products, an interview with owner manager was carried out to regulate the limitations and needs from the center; In addition, a marketing analysis was carried out in order to create strategies of promotion and advertising, using as a main tool a page on the social network Facebook and that is the most important means of tourist information of the surveyed population. The economic-financial analysis was carried out for considering all costs, expenses, capital, and current financial status, which are necessary elements to be able to make projections in medium-term projections in a medium term and at the same time Net Present Value (NPV) calculation was taken into consideration, which gave as a result 236,132.66 dollars, indicates that it generates profits and that it is positive. On the other hand, Internal Rate of Return (IRR) yielded 24.49% in relation to 4.98% that is passive rate from banks, if someone invests in the project there is a considerable profit in relation to the bank's profit. Therefore, it determined that the project is economically viable and feasible. It was determined that 77% of population does not know about existence from center due to lack of publicity and limited offer of tourist products, so it concluded that the tour offer that needs to be implemented in the recreation center "San Pedro" like camping activities, sport fishing, observation of flora and fauna. Therefore, it is recommended to implement advertising and expansion of tourism products.
