The project consists of the development of an automatic coconut water extractor machine whose purpose is to modernize the traditional way in which people extract the liquid from the fruit, guaranteeing greater safety and hygiene when extracting the liquid. This machine facilitates the process on a large scale since it uses a PLC to control it and an HMI to reflect the results. There is an interface with the user in a simple way when turning on using a selector and a mushroom-type emergency stop to stop the process in case of any damage. The process is carried out by means of 4 pneumatic cylinders, which have different functions within the sequence, in addition to their solenoid valves and the manifold for their air connections. Currently, coconut is a fruit that is highly desired by people for its great flavor and for the foods that come from the same fruit. As you know, there are many vendors of coconut water and the fruit around the entire city of Guayaquil since it represents an economic benefit for the people who are dedicated to this, which is why we adapted a machine to contribute to the extraction of the liquid. in a neater and safer way both for the operator who makes the cuts and for the consumer of the coconut water.
