The fatherhood of Saint Joseph is a response to the ideology of gender. The postulate of the ideology of gender is based on the self-perception of the person; it´s about a social construction. The ideology of gender is based also on parenthood instead of paternity, being aware of the possible changing gender of a person. The fatherhood of Saint Joseph expresses the importance of the father’s figure in the upbringing of a child. The greatness of the fatherhood is illuminated by faith.
