dc.description.abstractThis research analyzes the didactic strategies used by teachers and the principles of Universal Design for Learning. The objectives were: to describe the barriers that limit the application of Universal Design for Learning in the classroom, to identify the didactic strategies used by teachers in the classroom to achieve the proposed learning and to relate the didactic strategies used by teachers with the principles of Universal Design for Learning. The methodology was qualitative and the data collection instruments were: interviews and observation diaries. The main results are: teachers' lack of knowledge about the application of Universal Design within their classes and didactic strategies not very related to the principles of UDL.
