Abstract

The commercial and economic activities of the city of Guayaquil are determined by its central role in the national economy, which was influenced by international trade. The method of interpretation used by Westreiche was used, with which the influence of exports was specified as weaker and at the same time the influence of investment could be evidenced. The export of products decreased due to various measures and restrictions both at national and international level during covid-19. Therefore, it will be analyzed and identified the factors that treat the commercial sectors of Guayaquil, being this information fundamental to understand the dynamic behavior of exporters and to determine the drivers of commercial investment.
