In this research, the effect of Melatonin (ME) added to a commercial extender on the motility and viability of refrigerated porcine semen was evaluated. Five treatments were evaluated and it was concluded that the supplementation of low doses of ME (1 μM) to a commercial extender preserved motility better than high doses (50 and 100 μM).
