dc.descriptionThe social worker has always participated in educational processes considering that, within the institutions, he/she fulfills roles directed to the training and management of people, therefore the objective of the research consisted in determining the intervention performed by the Social Worker in the educational environment in times of COVID -19. For the methodological process, a non-experimental design of descriptive character was used, supported by a qualitative approach, with the use of the bibliographic method which allowed the review of articles published in 2.0 journals of the Latindex catalog, synthesis analysis was also performed and the interview technique was applied to the social worker and authorities of the educational unit October 18 of the Portoviejo Canton. The results showed that the social worker applies complementary procedures, such as direct observation in situ, when cases of bullying or school harassment are identified, in coordination with other professionals.en-US
dc.descriptionDesde siempre, el trabajador social participa en procesos educativos considerando que, dentro de las instituciones, cumple roles direccionados a la formación y gestión en personas, por cuanto el objetivo de la investigación consistió en determinar la intervención que realiza el Trabajador Social en el entorno educativo en tiempos de COVID -19. Para el proceso metodológico se utilizó un diseño no experimental, de carácter descriptivo, se apoyó en un enfoque cualitativo, con la utilización del método bibliográfico el cual permitió realizar revisión de artículos publicado en revistas 2.0 del catálogo Latindex, también se realizó análisis síntesis y se aplicó la técnica de la entrevista dirigida a la trabajadora social y a autoridades de la unidad educativa 18 de octubre del Cantón Portoviejo. Los resultados evidenciaron que la Trabajadora Social aplica procedimientos complementarios, como la observación directa in situ, cuando se identifican casos bullying o acoso escolar, en coordinación con otros profesionales.es-ES
