| dc.description | This article analyses some of the texts that the Argentinean writer Emma de la Barra wrote during her first trip to Italy, where the author lived between 1906 and 1911. Particularly, those centered on the visit that De la Barra and her husband, the also writer and journalist Julio Llanos, payed to the famous Edmundo De Amicis, the author of Cuore (1886), a best-seller that was broadly translated into several languages. The article aims to examine the authorial fictions (Premat, 2008) that emerge from those travel texts and to trace the social bonds that allowed De la Barra to adjust her authorial profile and outline herself as an international writer. | en-US |
| dc.description | Este artículo aborda algunos de los textos que la escritora argentina Emma de la Barra escribió durante su primera estadía en Italia entre 1906 y 1911, en especial “El libro de mis viajes”, publicado en La Nación en 1908. Se hace hincapié en aquellos que se centran en la visita que De la Barra y su marido, Julio Llanos, también escritor y periodista, le hicieron al célebre Edmundo De Amicis, autor de Cuore (1886), best seller que fue traducido a múltiples idiomas. El objetivo es revisar las ficciones autorales (Premat, 2008) que surgen de esos textos de viaje y rastrear los vínculos de sociabilidad que le permitieron a De la Barra reorientar su perfil autoral y proyectarse como una escritora de alcance internacional. | es-ES |
