With special reference to Biblical narrative, Eriugena treats in an original manner of the role of human nature in the plan of Creation. Divine image and similarity, distinctive characteristics of man, are analized from the standpoints of the divines atributes and of divine ignorance, ultimately suggesting a relation of the equality between image and prototype.
