dc.description.abstractThe present dissertation proposes to analyze the experience of the Ticuna women in indigenous territory who receive the benefit of the Bolsa Família Program, considering the effects of this policy on their lives and their families and community It also seeks to understand the changes in the daily lives of families through the insertion in a network of public policies oriented to poor populations in situations of social vulnerability and; Finally, to inquire into the effects of this policy on gender relations and empowerment of Ticuna women. In this sense, issues of gender, empowerment, autonomy and community feminism are addressed (PAREDES, 2010).It was an ethnographic study carried out in the community of Nova Itália in the Vui-Uata-In indigenous territory, located in the municipality of Amaturá-AM. The ethnography was carried out in the years of 2015 and 2016 in this community where I show the perspective of the women who receive the benefit of Bolsa Familia, where the main focus is the administration of money, autonomy and the empowerment generated by the Program.
