dc.description.abstractThe organizations, in general, inserted into different market segments, are constantly seeking for differentiation. In industries that rely on technology, this differentiation can be achieved by technological evolution. The competitiveness in the industry is studied in their strategic planning. In this sense, necessary research can help bringing the concepts and management of competitive, applying theory in the strategic procedures. The study of competitiveness within firms, in general, focuses on alternatives that generate growth and differentiation. Within this context, the objective of this research is to identify and prioritize the factors of competition in terms of preferential transactions (sales, manufacturing and development) of a technology based company and identify how they contribute to the strategy of business competition. This goal is sought by analyzing the companys products used in the case study, in the market of electronics technology, under an exploratory case study, using focus groups, help to promote the importance of exploring the various competitive dimensions in the organization and identify the reflex that can be achieved in business strategy. With this focus, we propose an increased focus on studies on competitive dimensions of companies that operate in the technological market.
