dc.description.abstractThis work aims to present the importance of alignment of Corporate Strategic Planning (CSP) with the Strategic Planning Information Technology (SPIT), as well as the difficulty of its implementation in a financial institution that does not have formalized strategic planning. For this study were used as theoretical reference books, magazines, articles and documents. The research is exploratory in nature by applying semi-structured questionnaire for managers of Value Chain, with a projected scenario was created through the questionnaire in order to enable a list of needs from other areas in relation to the area of Information Technology (IT). As a result, this list of needs should become an important material for the preparation of the Strategic Planning IT organization, guiding the application of resources and enabling process improvements. We concluded that, although it is possible to perform the SPIT with a projected scenario, the ideal model is the formal alignment of the CSP SPIT, where this way the entire organization has the same goal and seeks, through planning, to ensure a future promising for Finance.
