| dc.description.abstract | The present work seeks to understand how what we call softwarized narrativity lets us advance in our understanding of concepts such as memory, file, database, audiovisual and image-interface. This analysis is based on a media product: “Eu sou Amazônia”, from Google Earth, available online since 2017. For the methodological procedure, we articulate the frame methodology (KILPP, 2003; 2010b; 2015) and the excavation of layers through the media archeology approach. Additionally, we developed an experimental treatment of our object, which we call the crossover laboratory. Theoretical discussions are directed to propose the notion of softwarized narrativity, covering the fields of study of memory, audiovisualities, interface and software in the perspective of audiovisual technoculture. The course of the analysis shows the softwarized narrative in two processes: 1) Through the cartographic crossovers, which showed us the breadth of the empirical and allowed us to identify the following frames: homepage, interface, YouTube, audiovisualized map and hypertext; 2) Through the excavation of layers that coalesce, called: “Amazônia Audiovisualizada”, “Soft reader in the interface” and “False opacity of the software”. Thus said, the software narrative helped us to understand its manifestation on “Eu sou Amazônia”, from Google Earth, by showing the duration of memories about the Amazon and the audiovisualities in that environment, and showing the power of the software emerging as a cultural form, mediating our relations. | |
