Infecciones de transmión sexual y su relación con la enfermedad pelvica infamatoria

Abstract

Este estudio se centró en las infecciones de transmisión sexual (ITS) y su asociación con la enfermedad inflamatoria pélvica (PID). El objetivo fue determinar la relación entre las infecciones de transmisión sexual y la enfermedad pélvica inflamatoria. Ciudad de Guayaquil. El ensayo incluyó 150 casos s entre agosto de 2021 y febrero de 2022. Los resultados obtenidos: la Gonorrea 30,7% como principal infección de transmisión sexual, la Enfermedad inflamatoria pélvica asociada a gonorrea corresponde a 47,3%, la uretritis 42,o% como complicación derivada de las ITS. se concluye que existe una alta correlación entre las ITS y la enfermedad pélvica inflamatoria, se recalca la importancia de educación a la población sobre educación sexual y reproductiva.
