Manejo odontologico del paciente con insuficiencia renal

Abstract

Esta investigación abordo el tema del manejo odontológico del paciente con insuficiencia renal, debido a que algunos profesionales en odontología no disponen del conocimiento de protocolos, técnicas de tratamiento, patologías orales y manifestaciones clínicas que se van desarrollando a lo largo de la evolución de la enfermedad. Para ello se recopiló toda la información que les permita tener el conocimiento para una atención óptima en estos pacientes. El objetivo principal de la investigación fue describir diferentes protocolos y tratamientos Odontológicos para el manejo del paciente con insuficiencia renal de acuerdo con sus patologías orales. Se planteó una metodología Cualitativa para la realización de este trabajo de titulación. El desarrollo de la perspectiva teórica se basará en la revisión de documentación académica con alto impacto científico. De acuerdo con el análisis realizado, se concluye que la atención del paciente con insuficiencia renal debe ser minuciosa en cuanto tratamientos, protocolos y prescripción farmacológica.

This research addressed the issue of dental management of patients with renal failure, because some dental professionals do not have the knowledge of protocols, treatment techniques, oral pathologies and clinical manifestations that develop throughout the evolution of the disease. For this reason, all the information that would allow them to have the knowledge for an optimal care of these patients was compiled. The main objective of the research was to describe different dental protocols and treatments for the management of patients with renal failure according to their oral pathologies. A qualitative methodology was used for the realization of this degree work. The development of the theoretical perspective will be based on the review of academic documentation with high scientific impact. According to the analysis carried out, it is concluded that the care of the patient with renal insufficiency should be meticulous in terms of treatments, protocols and pharmacological prescription.
