Análisis Socio-Jurídico del Derecho Humano al agua en las zonas rurales de la Región Costa

Abstract

El tema “análisis socio-jurídico del derecho humano al agua en las zonas rurales de la región Costa” se presenta con la intención de conocer la evolución del derecho humano al agua desde su reconocimiento en 2010 por parte de las Naciones Unidas. Este derecho significa un gran avance en materia de derecho humanos. En el Ecuador se consagra el derecho humano al agua en la Constitución de la República, la Ley de Recursos Hídricos y el Código de Ordenamiento Territorial, normativas que son analizadas con una metodología rigurosa para determinar si las regulaciones han tenido alcance en las zonas rurales y su relación con los objetivos del Buen Vivir. Por último, se plantea una estrategia a modo de propuesta para solucionar problemas inherentes al servicio público del agua.

The topic "Socio-legal analysis of the human right to water in rural areas of the Costa region" is presented with the intention of knowing the evolution of the human right to water since its recognition in 2010 by the United Nations. This right is a major step forward in human rights. In Ecuador, the human right to water is enshrined in the Constitution of the Republic, the Water Resources Act and the Code of Territorial Planning, regulations that are analyzed with a rigorous methodology to determine whether regulations have had scope in rural areas and their relationship with the goals of Good Living. Finally, a strategy is proposed to solve problems inherent to the public water service.
