Abordaje de la ansiedad de pacientes en la consulta odontológica

Abstract

El presente trabajo de investigación propone determinar el abordaje de la ansiedad en pacientes dentro de la consulta odontológica para así establecer los factores que generan ansiedad, además de identificar de qué manera va a influir la ansiedad del paciente en la atención odontológica y finalmente describir el procedimiento a seguir en una crisis de ansiedad dentro del consultorio dental esto con ayuda de del método de investigación cualitativo comenzando a entender la ansiedad desde su etiología hasta la manera en la que se desarrolla mediante fuentes bibliográficas a fines al tema que se va a tratar como es la ansiedad dental con el fin de agrupar toda la información necesaria para cumplir con el objetivo expuesto en el trabajo de investigación. Para la metodología de este trabajo de investigación se realizó un enfoque Analítica – Sintética debido a que se llevó a cabo un análisis de la información recopilada estableciendo las evidencias científicas para conocer ampliamente de la ansiedad dental, y así llegar a la conclusión de que los signos y síntomas de la ansiedad dental van a impedir una atención compleja y en algunos casos la suspensión de la cita debido a los cambios fisiológicos que se presentan en el cuerpo

The present research work proposes to determine the approach to anxiety in patients within the dental office in order to establish the factors that generate anxiety, in addition to identifying how the anxiety of the patient will influence dental care and finally to describe the procedure to follow in an anxiety crisis in the dental office with the help of the qualitative research method, beginning to understand anxiety from its etiology to the way in which it develops by means of bibliographic sources related to the topic to be treated, such as dental anxiety, in order to gather all the information necessary to fulfill the objective set out in the research work. For the methodology of this research work an Analytical - Synthetic approach was used because an analysis was carried out of the information compiled establishing the scientific evidence to know widely about dental anxiety, and thus reach the conclusion that the signs and symptoms of dental anxiety are going to prevent complex attention and in some cases the suspension of the appointment due to the physiological changes that are presented in the body
