Diferencia de preparación biomecánica entre técnica convencional y técnica telescópica

Abstract

Tema: Diferencia de preparación biomecánica entre técnica convencional y técnica telescópica. Objetivo: Identificar las diferencias de preparación biomecánica entre técnica convencional y técnica telescópica. Material y método: Revisión bibliográfica donde se utilizaron 52 artículos desde el 2015 al 2021 de tipo descriptivo, transversal, deductivo, descriptivo, analítico, documental, retrospectiva, cualitativa y cuantitativa a través de los metabuscadores Web of Sciences, Pubmed, Google Scholar, Scielo, Elsevier, a partir de las palabras claves “técnicas, step-back, convencional, preparación biomecánica”, en base a los criterios de inclusión y exclusión se analizaron 65 artículos. Resultados: Después de realizar la revisión bibliográfica, se obtuvo que la técnica convencional no es indicada en pacientes debido a sus características, modo de empleo de los instrumentos. Gracias a ello, cada día se disminuye el uso de esta técnica aunque es eficaz para el aprendizaje de estudiantes. La técnica telescópica es la más usada debido a que respeta la anatomía del conducto radicular, la posición del foramen apical, forma las paredes lisas promoviendo el aislamiento de las mismas, y facilita las limpieza y desinfección del conducto. Conclusión: Se concluyó que la técnica telescópica o step back es la mejor elección para la preparación biomecánica, puesto que presenta mejores condiciones al momento de instrumentar y desinfectar el conducto respetando la anatomía original del mismo

Results: After reviewing the literature, it was found that the conventional technique is not indicated for patients due to its characteristics and the way the instruments are used. As a result, the use of this technique is decreasing every day, although it is effective for students' learning skills. The telescopic technique is the most used because it respects the anatomy of the root canal, the position of the apical foramen, forms smooth walls promoting their isolation, and facilitates cleaning and disinfection of the canal. Conclusion: It was concluded that the telescopic or step back technique is the best choice for biomechanical preparation, since it presents better conditions at the moment of instrumenting and disinfecting the canal respecting its original anatomy
