IDENTIFICACIÓN DE CONCEPCIONES MACHISTAS E INFLUENCIA EN LA FUNCIONALIDAD DE LAS FAMILIAS DEL SECTOR NORTE DE LA CIUDAD DE GUAYAQUIL

Abstract

El siguiente trabajo de titulación se lo realizó bajo la modalidad de sistematización de experiencias, cuyo tema Identificación de concepciones machistas e influencia en la funcionalidad de las familias, fue elaborado en base a las vivencias obtenidas en las prácticas pre-profesionales del sexto semestre a través del Programa de Promoción para el Desarrollo de una Cultura de Paz y Equidad de Género, que se ejecutó junto con la fundación Huerto de los Olivos en el año 2019. Este trabajo tiene como eje principal la pregunta ¿Cuáles fueron las concepciones machistas que influyeron en la funcionalidad de las familias del sector norte de la ciudad de Guayaquil?, la cual permitió analizar la experiencia a sistematizar. En relación a la recolección de información fue obtenida a través de dos familias en donde cada una tuvo una representante con la que se interactuó durante todo el proceso de prácticas. La metodología que se empleó fue cualitativa bajo un alcance descriptivo. En la reflexión crítica se identificaron diversas concepciones machistas, las cuales hacían referencia a las características que socialmente se le suelen atribuir tanto al hombre como a la mujer; luego se analizó la influencia de las mismas en los diferentes componentes de la funcionalidad familiar, la cual se determinó que es escasa debido a que estas creencias se encuentran naturalizadas por las representantes, en donde al no presentarse una ruptura de los roles tradicionales, tienen la percepción de que sus familias se encuentran entre los rangos de funcional y moderadamente funcional

The following degree work was done under the modality of systematization of experiences, whose theme Identification of machist conceptions and influence on the functionality of families, was prepared based on the experiences obtained in the pre-professional practices of the sixth semester through the Promotion Program for the Development of a Culture of Peace and Gender Equity, which was executed together with the foundation Huerto de los Olivos in 2019. This work has as its main axis the question "What were the machist conceptions that influenced the functionality of the families in the northern sector of the city of Guayaquil", which allowed the analysis of the experience to be systematized. In relation to the collection of information, it was obtained through two families where each one had a representative with whom we interacted during the whole process of practices. The methodology used was qualitative with a descriptive scope. In the critical reflection, several machist conceptions were identified, which referred to the characteristics that are socially attributed to both men and women; then the influence of these conceptions on the different components of family functionality was analyzed, which was determined to be scarce due to the fact that these beliefs are naturalized by the representatives, where, since there is no break in the traditional roles, they have the perception that their families are between the functional and moderately functional ranges
