El Déficit Fiscal y sus repercusiones en la Balanza de Pagos del Ecuador periodo 2007 – 2017

Abstract

La investigación analiza las repercusiones del déficit fiscal en la balanza de pagos del Ecuador periodo 2007 – 2017, el déficit fiscal se derivó del desequilibrio del presupuesto del gobierno central por el excesivo gasto público y por la caída del precio del petróleo repercutiendo en la balanza comercial, renta y cuenta de capital y financiera, el tipo de investigación utilizado fue descriptiva, el enfoque de investigación cuantitativa porque se analizó series de datos y relaciones entre las variables del déficit fiscal y la balanza de pagos además que la modalidad fue documental recurriendo a fuentes de datos proporcionada por el Banco Central del Ecuador, la conclusión principal es que el déficit fiscal ha aumentado y provocado que el gobierno busque financiamiento externo para poder cubrir el gasto que llevó hasta el 2017, el saldo de la balanza comercial está completamente relacionada con el déficit fiscal al aumentar o disminuir el gasto y las importaciones, la indisciplina fiscal ha incidido negativamente en los indicadores de la balanza de renta y cuenta capital y financiero ya que en la mayoría de los años el país fue un importador neto capital y pago intereses de deuda siendo la renta pagada superior a la renta recibida.
