Análisis de la situación financiera de la Benemérita Sociedad Filantrópica del Guayas periodo 2017-2018

Abstract

Los análisis financieros son instrumentos que aplican las empresas para evaluar la situación financiera y económica en la que se encuentran, con la finalidad de tomar decisiones futuras adecuadas acorde a los objetivos planteados por la empresa así lo demostró la literatura y los trabajos asociados al tema revisados, teniendo como objetivo analizar la situación financiera de la Benemérita Sociedad Filantrópica del Guayas aplicando metodología cualitativa y cuantitativa, permitiendo analizar e interpretar los resultados obtenidos de la aplicación de herramientas financieras en los estados financieros durante el periodo 2017 y 2018. Se realizó un análisis completo de los principales estados financieros de la empresa de cuyos resultados permitirán a los Directivos establecer estrategias acordes a los objetivos que se plantea la institución a corto, mediano y largo plazo. Implementar o mejorar la gestión financiera de la institución, verificar el crecimiento de sus activos y pasivos para tomar las medidas pertinentes, además de determinar si es necesaria la creación de una gestión de cobranza por el grado promedio de días de retraso en los pagos que éste presente, y así tratar de recuperar su cartera vencida. Se concluye con la importancia del análisis de los estados financieros y el cálculo de las diferentes herramientas empleadas y se recomienda la revisión periódica de ellos para tomar las decisiones más apropiadas.

Financial analyses are instruments that companies apply to assess the financial and economic situation in which they are located, in order to make appropriate future decisions according to the objectives set by the company, this was demonstrated by the literature and the work associated with the subject reviewed, with the aim of analyzing the financial situation of the Benemérita Sociedad Filantrópica del Guayas applying qualitative and quantitative methodology, allowing to analyze and interpret the results obtained from the application of financial tools in the financial statements during the period 2017 and 2018. A full analysis of the company's main financial statements was carried out, the results of which will allow managers to establish strategies according to the objectives of the institution in the short, medium and long term. Implement or improve the financial management of the institution, verify the growth of its assets and liabilities to take the appropriate measures, in addition to determining whether it is necessary to create a collection management for the average degree of late payments that it presents, and thus try to recover its expired portfolio. It concludes with the importance of analyzing the financial statements and calculating the different tools used and recommends periodic review of them to make the most appropriate decisions.
