Estudio de factibilidad y rentabilidad para la puesta en marcha de una línea de producción de mobiliario escolar para la regional sur de la Asociación Fe y Alegría.

Abstract

El presente trabajo de titulación tiene como objetivo evaluar costos y beneficios de la propuesta de implementación de una línea de producción de mobiliario escolar para la Regional Sur de la Asociación Fe y Alegríaen los talleres del CECALperteneciente a esta Asociación, para producir mobiliarios a costo razonable, que permita satisfacer la demanda interna de los centros educativos.En el análisis inicial se identificó una distribuciónincorrectade planta e incumplimientode normativa legal y técnica, lo cual repercutirá en la factibilidad y rentabilidad de producción de mobiliario escolar bajo esa circunstancia. Con la propuesta se logró optimizar el espacio con metodologías y técnicas a fin de minimizar tiempo de traslado, disposición de materia prima e insumos, debido a la necesidad de reemplazar mobiliariopor uno de excelente calidad. Como resultado del análisisde rentabilidad, se comparalarelación del costo de comprar almercado exterior con elcosto deproducir internamente el mobiliario escolar, dando como conclusión que por cadadólar invertidose obtiene$8.58determinandoque lapropuesta es viable.

The present work has the objective of evaluating costs and benefits of the proposal for the inplementation of a school furniture production line for the southern region of the “Fe y Alegría”association in the workshops of the CECAL belonging to this association, for reasonable cost, which allow to satisfy the internal demand of the educational centers. In the initial analysis, an incorrect plant distribution and noncompliancewith legal anda technical regulations wereidentified, which will have an impact on the feasibility and profitability of the production of school furniture under that circumstances. With the proposal it was posible to optimize the space with methodologies and techniques in order to minimizethe transfer time, disposition of raw material and supplies, due to the need to replace the furniture with a quality one. As a result of the profitability analysis, the relationaship of the cost of buying to the foreign market is compared with the costof producing the school furniture internally, giving as a conclusion that for each dollar invested $8.58 is obtained determining that the proposal is viable.
