dc.description.abstract | La cavidad alveolar experimenta sucesivos procesos biológicos, cuyo resultado
dc.description.abstract | The alveolar cavity undergoes successive biological processes, the end result
of which is its complete healing and its replacement by bone tissue covered by
gingival mucosa, healing after a tooth extraction can sometimes be altered by
many factors, and thus lengthen the time of their total healing, in this research
work the healing time was studied in simple exodontics. Objective: Determine
the healing time in two simple simultaneous exodontics with and without suture.
Methods: It was performed in the surgery clinic of the Pilot Faculty of Dentistry
of the University of Guayaquil, in a male patient of 26 years the extraction of the
pieces #28 with suture and #18 without suture. Conclusion: it was observed that
when using suture the healing was very satisfactory because the three phases
(inflammatory phase, proliferative phase and remodeling phase) occurred in a
shorter time. Unlike where no stitches were made as an alveolus contained
small particles not compatible with healing was proposed, delaying the scarring
process. | |
