FACTORES DE RIESGO Y BAJO RENDIMIENTO ESCOLAR EN NIÑOS DE 10 A 12 AÑOS QUE FORMAN PARTE DE NURTAC

Abstract

El presente trabajo fue una investigación cualitativa cuyo objetivo general fue caracterizar los factores de riesgo del contexto familiar en niños de 10 a 12 años con bajo rendimiento escolar que forman parte de la fundación NURTAC en el suroeste de la ciudad de Guayaquil. De manera que se lograron caracterizar los elementos del contexto familiar referidos al nivel socioeconómico, involucramiento y escolaridad de los padres, además de elementos de la estructura familiar como, límites, jerarquía, reglas y roles para los cuales se tomó el modelo teórico de Salvador Minuchin. Los instrumentos y técnicas que permitieron recolectar la información para luego ser interpretada y presentada fueron: reporte de evaluación, entrevista, genograma, ficha de observación y diario de campo.

Es así como esta investigación pretendió ofrecer una perspectiva diferente, en donde el niño con bajo rendimiento no sea etiquetado como único responsable de su aprendizaje, por lo que resulta importante redirigir la mirada al sistema familiar

This work is a cross section qualitative research and descriptive exploratory scope. The general goal is to define the family context risk factors in children between 10 to 12 years old with deficient school performance, part of NURTAC foundation in the southwest of Guayaquil city. Achieving to define the elements of the family context referred to socioeconomic status, environment and parents’ education level, as well as elements of family structure such as limits, hierarchy, rules and roles, taken for it the theoretical model of Salvador Minuchin. The instruments and techniques that allowed collecting the information to then been analyzed and shown were the followings: evaluation report, interview, genogram, observation sheet and field diary.

Thus, this research aimed to change the points of view, to don’t judge the child with deficient performance as the only responsible for their learning, so it’s important to redirect the look to the family system
