Restauraciones estéticas en el sector anterior.

Abstract

Cuando nos referimos a estética nuestra mente piensa en belleza y armonía puesto que en la actualidad son diversas las personas que buscan tratamientos restauradores con el fin de mejorar su apariencia no solo dental sino también facial, puesto que por diversos factores esta estética se ve alterada por problemas adyacentes que modifican el sustrato dental, tales como las caries, golpes, fracturas, pigmentaciones, etc. El objetivo del presente estudio es determinar la frecuencia de restauraciones estéticas en el sector anterior en la facultad piloto de odontología dichas restauraciones realizadas por los alumnos del décimo semestre sección matutina, demostrando los diversos tratamientos rehabilitadores y los distintos tipos de materiales que se pueden utilizar para la obtención de una buena estética dependiendo del caso a tratar, usando metodología deductiva e inductiva con la técnica de observación y cuyo instrumento de recolección de datos fue la ficha clínica. Se llegó a la conclusión que el tipo de tratamiento rehabilitador más realizado en el sector anterior fueron las restauraciones directas con resina compuesta puesto que es un tratamiento más económico con menos invasión del sustrato dental y menos visitas al odontólogo.

When we refer to aesthetics, our mind thinks of beauty and harmony since today there are diverse people who seek restorative treatments in order to improve their appearance, not only dental but also facial. For various factors this aesthetic is altered by adjacent problems that modify the dental substrate, such as caries, bumps, fractures, pigmentations, etc. The aim of the present study is to determine the frequency of aesthetic restorations in the anterior sector in the Pilot Faculty of Dentistry. The restorations were performed by the students of the tenth semester, morning section, demonstrating the various rehabilitation treatments and the different types of materials that can be used for obtaining a good aesthetics depending on the case to be treated. Methodology: Deductive and inductive with observation technique and whose data collection instrument was the clinical record. Conclusion: The most performed type of rehabilitation treatment in the anterior sector were direct restorations with composite resin since it is a more economical treatment with less invasion of the dental substrate and fewer visits to the dentist.
