Determinar requerimiento de oxígeno suplementario en pacientes con fibrosis pulmonar mediante el test de marcha

Abstract

El determinar requerimiento de oxigeno suplementario en pacientes con fibrosis pulmonar mediante test de marcha que se encuentran en el Hospital Neumológico Alfredo J. Valenzuela de la ciudad de Guayaquil, en donde se ha encontrado que no existe la aplicación del test de marcha de 6 minutos en que tiene como objetivo que se conozca la cantidad de oxígeno suplementario en dichos pacientes requiere para la mejora de su estado de salud y además de su estilo de vida durante los años que deba sobrellevar dicha enfermedad; durante la investigación se requirió de diversos instrumentos y conocimientos científicos y literarios que se apegan al desarrollo del presente trabajo como libros, páginas web especializadas en fibrosis pulmonar, también acerca del test de marcha, oxigenoterapia y la disnea; las encuestas y fichas de observación fueron escogidas hacia la población determinada por el número de pacientes existentes en el hospital en análisis y cuyos resultados fueron recopilados y tabulados por medio de herramientas digitales de gran utilidad como lo es Excel. Mediante la aplicación de la propuesta se puede satisfacer la necesidad de los pacientes, debido que ellos sufren de disnea y con esto se les muestra la cantidad de oxígeno suplementario que necesitan para mantener un estilo de vida acorde a sus restricciones. Además concluye la autora que es de fácil aplicación y no requiere de mayor inversión para llevarlo a cabo y que el encargado principalmente debe ser un terapeuta respiratorio.

Furthermore the author concludes that it is easy to apply and does not require further investment to take place and that the charge should be primarily a respiratory therapist.
