Complicaciones de sepsis neonatal temprana y tardía, estudio a realizar en el Hospital Guayaquil Abel Gilbert Pontón en el año 2015

Abstract

Se entiende por sepsis neonatal aquella situación clínica derivada de la invasión y proliferación de bacterias, hongos o virus en el torrente sanguíneo del recién nacido y que se manifiesta dentro de los primeros 28 días de vida. Entre las complicaciones que se puede manifestar en la sepsis neonatal está: el shock, hemorragia suprarrenal, acidosis, hipotermia, hipoglicemia, hiponatremia, taquipnea, apneas o respiración irregular, taquicardia, meningitis, osteomielitis, endocarditis y malformaciones congénitas del sistema nervioso central.

It is understood that neonatal sepsis clinical situation resulting from the invasion and proliferation of bacteria, fungi or viruses in the bloodstream of the newborn and manifested within the first 28 days of life. Among the complications that can manifest in neonatal sepsis is: shock, adrenal hemorrhage, acidosis, hypothermia, hypoglycemia, hyponatremia, tachypnea, apnea or irregular breathing, rapid heartbeat, meningitis, osteomyelitis, endocarditis and congenital malformations of the central nervous system.
