Factores de riesgo de preeclampsia en embarazo adolescente del Hospital General Norte de Guayaquil Los Ceibos período 2017 – 2018

Abstract

Introducción: La preeclampsia es una enfermedad propia del embarazo, y se define como a aparición de hipertensión y proteinuria a partir de la semana 20 de gestación. A nivel mundial afecta al 3 al 10% de los embarazos y presenta una importante morbimortalidad materno y fetal. En el Ecuador viven cerca de dos millones y medio de adolescentes entre 10 y 19 año; la tendencia al incremento del embarazo en la adolescencia en el país es la más alta de la subregión andina. Metodología: El objetivo de este proyecto de investigación es la incidencia de preeclampsia en pacientes adolescentes, Determinar los factores de riesgo asociados a preeclampsia en gestantes adolescentes atendidas en el Hospital General Norte de Guayaquil Los Ceibos. Se estableció un estudio retrospectivo, observacional y descriptivo durante el período 2017 al 2018, el universo escogido fueron pacientes gestantes atendidas en el área de ginecología y hospitalización del Hospital General norte de Guayaquil Los Ceibos, la muestra fueron 115 pacientes que presentaron Preeclampsia. Resultados: Se observó la media de edad de las pacientes fue de 18 años, teniendo similar resultado en moda y mediana. Se presentó mayor incidencia de preeclampsia en pacientes primíparas como resultado en el 80% del total de la muestra. Dentro de los tipos de parto se presentó en mayor cantidad los partos por cesárea segmentaria con 98 casos de los 115; 7 partos por cesárea de emergencia que equivale al 7%. La complicación más frecuente en pacientes preeclampticas del Hospital General norte de Guayaquil Los Ceibos fue la hemorragia postparto con el 20,9% del total.

Introduction: Preeclampsia is currently considered as the new onset of hypertension and proteinuria after the 20th week, in a previously normotensive woman, the great problem of our society is that they have multisystemic factors and their etiopathogenesis remains unknown. In Ecuador live about two and a half million adolescents between 10 and 19 years old (20%). The tendency to increase pregnancy in adolescence in the country is the highest in the sub Andean region. Methodology: The objective of this research project is the incidence of preeclampsia in adolescent patients. To determine the risk factors associated with preeclampsia in adolescent pregnant women attended at the General Hospital of Guayaquil. We established a retrospective, observational and descriptive study during the period 2017 to 2018, the universe chosen were pregnant patients attended in the area of gynecology and hospitalization of the General Hospital North of Guayaquil Los Ceibos, the sample were 115 patients who presented Preeclampsia. Results: The mean age of the patients was observed to be 18 years, having a similar result in fashion and median. There was a higher incidence of preeclampsia in primiparous patients as a result in 80% of the total sample. Among the types of delivery, there was a greater number of deliveries by segmental caesarean section with 98 cases out of 115; 7 deliveries by emergency cesarean section, equivalent to 7%. Postpartum haemorrhage was the most frequent complication in preeclamptic patients in the northern general hospital, with 20.9% of the total.
