Evaluación del impacto económico y social de la Asociación de Producción Pesquera Artesanal y Valor agregado, comuna San Mateo del cantón Manta, periodo 2014 – 2017

Abstract

El presente trabajo de investigación tuvo como propósito evaluar el impacto económico y social de la Asociación de producción pesquera artesanal y valor agregado, comuna San Mateo del cantón Manta, periodo 2014 – 2017, para ello se determinaron las condiciones laborales y económicas, la producción pesquera artesanal y el valor agregado que aporta la actividad productiva realizada por la asociación, las políticas establecidas por el Gobierno Nacional, fuentes de financiamiento y destino de los capitales que promueve la misma. Se efectuó un análisis de tipo etnográfico-descriptivo, es decir, una investigación de tipo básica-no experimental de corte seccional mediante la elaboración de encuestas y entrevistas a los involucrados, por lo que el enfoque de la investigación es de tipo mixto, cualitativo y cuantitativo. Al recabar la percepción de los socios- trabajadores de la asociación objeto de estudio, se logró establecer que este emprendimiento tiene como objetivo fomentar plazas de empleo y mejorar la calidad de vida de la comuna de estudio, es intensivo de mano de obra del sexo femenino, y no ha sido explotada al máximo la inversión en capital ni en infraestructura debido a que no conocen los integrantes como ampliar el mercado de sus productos.

The purpose of this investigation is to evaluate the economic and social impact of the association of artisanal fishing production and added value, San Mateo municipality of Manta-Ecuador, 2014 – 2017. In order to elaborate the present document the conditions of the labor and economy, the fishing production and the added value provided by the productive activity carried out by the association were determined. The policies established by the National Government, sources of financing and destination of the capitals promoted by it were also studied. An ethnographic-descriptive type of analysis was carried out, that is, a non-experimental basic research of a sectional nature through the elaboration of polls and interviews with the involved parties, for instance the focus of y the research focus is mixed, qualitative and quantitative. When collecting the perception of the partners-workers of the association object of study, it was established that this project aims to promote employment opportunities and improve the quality of life of the commune San Mateo that is intensive in female labor. Another result is that the investment in capital and infrastructure has not been fully developed because the members do not know how to expand the market of their products.
