Diseño y reingeniería de la infraestructura de la red lan de la Facultas de Ciencias Económicas de la Universidad de Guayaquil.

Abstract

Se afirma permanentemente, que la globalización ha sido producto de varios factores, especialmente, el desarrollo tecnológico, y en particular el de las telecomunicaciones. De este no escapa el proceso de enseñanza aprendizaje en las universidades. En este entorno, desarrolla sus actividades la Facultad de Ciencias Económicas de la Universidad de Guayaquil. El objetivo general del presente Trabajo de Titulación es realizar el rediseño y reingeniería de la infraestructura de la red LAN de la Facultad de Ciencias Económicas de la Universidad de Guayaquil. La investigación es descriptiva, se utilizó el método inductivo deductivo. Para ello acudimos a la información primaria, documental y cuantitativa de la red LAN actual que presta servicio en esta Unidad Académica. Después de realizar un diagnóstico integral de la red, se concluye que, es urgente y necesario aplicar esta reingeniería, para mejorar el servicio a los usuarios internos y externos, así como para mejorar los procesos académicos, de investigación y administrativos, rediseñar la reingeniería de la infraestructura de la red LAN de la Facultad, lo cual es técnicamente viable, y por ende los niveles de eficiencia en el servicio se elevaran 95%.

This last one does not escape from the process of teaching and learning in universities. In this environment, the Faculty of Economics of the University of Guayaquil develops its activities. The general objective of this Final Work of graduation to carry out the redesign and re-engineering of the LAN network infrastructure of the Economic Sciences Faculty of the University of Guayaquil. The research is descriptive, using the inductive deductive method. To do this it was necessary to look for to the primary, documentary and quantitative information of the current LAN that serves in this Academic Unit. After a comprehensive diagnosis of the network, it is concluded that it is urgent and necessary to apply this project in order to improve the service to internal and external users, as well as to improve the academic processes of, research as well as the administrative ones, to redesign the infrastructure reengineering The LAN of the Faculty, which is technically feasible, and as a result the levels of efficiency in the service will be rised in a 95%.
