ANÁLISIS DEL PERFIL DEL VISITANTE DEL CANTÓN SANTA LUCÍA, PARA EL DESARROLLO DE UN PARQUE TEMÁTICO

Abstract

El desconocimiento del perfil ha conllevado a la obtención de un lento desarrollo en cuanto al turismo en Santa Lucía, debido a que no se sabe cuáles son las expectativas de los visitantes que acuden a dicho sitio, por lo cual el presente trabajo de investigación buscó analizar el perfil del visitante que llega al cantón Santa Lucía, para diseñar una propuesta recreativa que es un parque temático, siendo ésta una posible solución a la baja afluencia de visitantes y mínimos lugares de distracción para la comunidad. Para la ejecución de esta investigación se utilizó el enfoque mixto, haciendo uso de los métodos de investigación analítica, sintética, inductivo, deductivo; y como técnicas la observación de los visitantes del cantón, la entrevista a dos expertos en el área, un promotor de Santa Lucía y una especialista en turismo y comunicación; y la encuesta a una población universo de 370 visitantes. La propuesta consiste en el desarrollo de un parque temático el cual incrementaría las visitas en dicho sitio para un mejor desarrollo turístico del cantón y beneficio de toda la comunidad.

The lack of knowledge of the visitors profile has led to a slow development in tourism in Santa Lucia, because the expectations of the visitors that go to that place are unknown, so the present research sought to analyze the profile of the visitor who arrives in the canton of Santa Lucia, to design a recreational proposal that is a theme park, as a possible solution to the low influx of visitors and minimum places of distraction for the community. For the execution of this research the mixed approach was used, making use of analytical, synthetic, inductive, deductive research methods; and as techniques: the observation of the visitors of the canton, the interview to two experts in the area, a promoter of Santa Lucia and a specialist in tourism and communication, and the survey to a population universe of 370 visitors. The proposal consists of the development of a theme park which would increase the visits in that site for a better tourist development of the canton and benefit of the whole community.
