Abstract

Las cirugías de extracciones múltiples son aconsejadas cuando el paciente presenta dientes remanentes, ya que en una sola intervención quirúrgica se puede arreglar un maxilar completo. Entre los beneficios se encuentran: mejor cicatrización, simplifican el postoperatorio, preparación de los rebordes para recibir una rehabilitación protésica y el ahorro del tiempo. La aplicación de la alveoloplastia implica remodelar el hueso alveolar luego de las extracciones en donde luego será implantada una prótesis inmediata que impedirá las complicaciones fisiológicas, psicológicas y de estética.Objetivo: Describir las extracciones múltiples aplicando alveoloplastia como técnica en la rehabilitación protésica inmediata. Método: Descriptivo- documental de diseño no experimental. Conclusiones Devolverle a la paciente la estética para modificar la estructura alveolar y tener una mejor adaptación de la prótesis inmediata, la cual consiste en colocar los dientes inmediatamente después de las extracciones y la regularización de los maxilares para que el paciente no pase por mucho tiempo desdentado se vea mejor estéticamente. No pierde la dimensión vertical y esta se conserva, hay menor reabsorción de hueso alveolar bajo las prótesis, los dientes en la dentadura inmediata, pueden ser colocados en la misma posición que los que poseía el paciente por lo tanto El paciente realizará una mejor deglución y fonación También La prótesis inmediata promueve la cicatrización protegiendo los alveolos expuestos, actúa como un apósito para controlar la hemorragia Psicológicamente el paciente se siente feliz.
