Análisis de la cartera de inversión del Banco del Instituto Ecuatoriano de Seguridad Social en el Mercado Bursatil ecuatoriano

Abstract

Dentro del Sistema Financiero de un país, el mercado bursátil cumple un rol esencial en el crecimiento de la economía. La escasa participación del Banco del Instituto Ecuatoriano de Seguridad Social (BIESS) se debe a que el mercado bursátil ecuatoriano es pequeño y limitado. El objeto de estudio que se refiere es el Sistema Financiero, cuyo campo de acción se centra en el mercado bursátil. La metodología que se plantea tiene un enfoque descriptivo con tendencia cuantitativa, en la que se delinea las características del mercado, su funcionamiento y la relación con la información referente de las inversiones negociadas en la bolsa de valores nacional; los métodos empíricos utilizados para analizar la cartera de inversión se lo realizó mediante las razones financieras y la interpretación porcentual representativa de cada instrumento financiero. La presente investigación pretende analizar la cartera de inversión del BIESS en el mercado bursátil ecuatoriano, que mediante el análisis financiero se determina la existencia de recursos monetarios que el BIESS dispone y que pueden ser invertidos en el mercado bursátil nacional fortaleciéndolo y generando un aumento en su rentabilidad.

Within the financial system of a country, the stock market plays a key role in the growth of the economy. The low participation of Bank of the Ecuadorian Institute of Social Security (BIESS) is that the Ecuadorian stock market is small and limited. The object of study is referred to the financial system, whose field of action focuses on the stock market. The methodology has posed a descriptive approach with quantitative trend, in which the characteristics of the market outlined, operation and relationship with information regarding investments traded on national securities exchange; empirical methods used to analyze the investment portfolio was made by financial reasons and representative percentage interpretation of each financial instrument. This research aims to analyze the investment portfolio of BIESS in the Ecuadorian stock market, which through financial analysis determined the existence of monetary resources that BIESS available and that can be invested in the domestic stock market fortifying and generating an increase in cost effectiveness.
