dc.description.abstract | The third molars or wisdom teeth can cause infection ,
especially when the molar is connected to the mouth. also
this can also damage the surrounding teeth , causing cavities ,
periodontal disease in the adjacent gum , swollen gums , cysts and
tumors even though the latter are not excessively
frequent. Certainly the indication of extraction of the third molar or
" wisdom tooth " is one of the most common procedures indicated by
the orthodontist and the general dentist. However it is a
professional obligation to give an objective and orderly justification where
clearly establish the indications and contraindications , timing
ideal, the ideal professional the necessary appointments and the cost of
treatment .
Any tooth may suffer disruption of their eruptive process
causing partial or complete retention within the maxillary processes.
The third molars are the teeth most frequently suffer
failure of eruption either by mechanical causes , or embryological
general .
Since the actual incidence of disease associated with third
molars is not so high , it is advisable to adopt a
watchful waiting with regular checks of the molars
asymptomatic , proceeding to preventive extraction only in some
circumstances .
All impacted tooth is capable of producing infectious disorders
( pericoronitis ) , mucosal ulcerations , adenoflemones , etc. .
Because of these factors , as a research topic I have "Removing
Lower Third Molar " with this inquiry try to answer the
questions that occur before, during and after surgery
surgical of Third Molars . Also admitting me develop the

factors that impede the extraction, in order to avoid
complications during and after the surgical procedure .
