| dc.description | El proyecto investiga desde el grabado la chicha como movimiento musical que acompañó las experiencias migratorias entre los años setenta y noventa del siglo pasado desde las provincias a la capital del país. Identifica una relación dislocada entre el bagaje visual alrededor del género y el contenido de las letras de sus canciones, cargadas de crítica social. Así, el proyecto desarrolla una serie de piezas que proponen nuevas relaciones entre aquellas letras y el archivo visual de los movimientos sociales de la época. | |
| dc.description | The project investigates the engraving of «chicha» as a musical movement that accompanied migratory experiences between the last century's seventies and nineties from the provinces to the capital of the country. A dislocated relationship is identified between the visual baggage around the genre and the social criticism in the lyrics' content of its songs. Thus, the project develops a series of pieces that propose new relationships between those lyrics and the visual archive of the social movements of that time. | |
