dc.descriptionNowadays, there is a wide range of areas related to Smart Cities and how to make possible their development of a city in a sustainable and efficient way. However, for the development of a city, it is necessary to know how is the real state and the grade of implementation that our city has within the Smart City context; this is the maturity of development. In order to achieve an optimal result, it is necessary to start the evaluation of the city with a standard already develop by different international organizations. Moreover, we need to evaluate the city according to the key performance indicators (KPIs) accepted with this international organizations and compareits with other cities. The main international standard that measure the real state of a city within of Smart City context is the ISO37120:2014. Hence, this paper study how is the different KPIs of this standard for Lima. Besides, Lima is compared to London, Buenos Aires and Guadalajara, with the purpose to assigning a “Smart” index and, thus, knowing the real state of Smart City development. Our study shows that Lima has a bad/critical “Smart” index, i.e.,Lima show a defective Smart City development. Therefore, Lima urgently needs a transformationof public policies to improve, above all, the ergonomics of its citizens.en-US
dc.descriptionExiste una amplia gama de subtemas relacionados con las Smart Cities y cómo hacer posible su desarrollo de una manera sostenible y eficiente. Sin embargo, de cara al desarrollo de una ciudad, se hace necesario conocer qué estado y qué implementación tiene nuestra ciudad dentro del contexto Smart City; esto es la madurez de desarrollo. Para ello resulta de especial interés empezar con alguno de los modelos de madurez ya descritos por diferentes organizaciones o realizar una preevaluación de la ciudad conforme a indicadores mundialmente aceptados que permitan compararla con otras ciudades. De entre los indicadores para posicionar una ciudad inteligente destaca el estándar ISO 37120:2014, que intenta medir el estado real de una Smart City. En este documento se estudiarán los diferentes indicadores de desempeño del estándar para Lima, de manera que, comparándola con otras grandes metrópolis, se le pueda asignar un índice Smart que nos indique el estado real de desarrollo que tiene actualmente. Nuestro estudio evidencia que la ciudad de Lima tiene un índice Smart malo/crítico, es decir que tiene poco/nada de Smart City, por lo que se necesita urgentemente una transformación de las políticas públicas para mejorar, sobre todo, la ergonomía de sus ciudadanos.es-ES
