dc.descriptionLabor laws have always sought to protect women, especially when they are mothers. Regardless, the majority of these rules originate in a paternalistic supposition and without gender perspective, maintaining a stereotyped image of the woman in her role as a mother, without the correction of the inadequate situation in which they live. This article seeks to present a juridical opinion about current normative situation, the recent corrections and the existing problems, accompanied by proposals of possible solutions.en-US
dc.descriptionLas normas laborales siempre buscaron proteger a las mujeres, en especial cuando también son madres. Empero, la mayoría de esas normas parten de un supuesto paternalista y sin perspectiva de género, manteniendo una imagen estereotipada de la mujer en su rol de madre, sin que puedan corregir la inadecuada situación que viven. El presente trabajo busca presentar una opinión jurídica sobre la situación normativa vigente, las recientes correcciones, los problemas existentes y algunas propuestas de soluciones.es-ES
